
Thorsten is an architect and overall project manager at Archipel General Planning in Switzerland, specialising in complex project management. In 25 years of professional experience at airports, for the public sector and general planners, he has developed a portfolio of work across all sectors and all sizes. He is a creative senior project leader who is capable of inspiring his teams and collaborating with engineering, construction and client teams to achieve optimum solutions. Currently he is Managing Director of ARGE BB07 for the new construction of a medical research centre in Berne and representing four architectural firms. He is also professionally involved in the development and execution of sustainability and circular economy strategies at corporate and project level. Together with ETH Zurich, he has developed a digital tool named CLIAR with a special focus on sustainable and circular project development.
