Accelerate the transition to a circular built environment…
WasteBuild is the first and only international built environment event with the dedicated ambition to accelerate the transition towards a circular built environment.
Today, the construction process accounts for 50% of all materials used globally and for 36% of the waste created.
Increasing public awareness and an appetite to tackle waste in all forms is encouraging the adoption of robust circular economy roadmaps across all governments, with innovations in the built environment critical to every plan.
This movement away from the old linear ‘take, make, waste’ approach towards a circular economy is now increasingly supported by regulations and government targets across Europe and the world.
WasteBuild in Amsterdam is the only event dedicated to the international architecture, engineering and construction community and to specifically understanding the opportunities that the circular economy brings.
Learn, be inspired and do business at WasteBuild in 2023 and make sure your organisation is maximising the opportunities of the new circular built environment.
The Sustainable Development Goals are the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all.

About the venue
NDSM, Amsterdam
The NDSM warehouse has stood at the IJ waterfront for almost a hundred years. From it's origins as part of the former shipyard, more recently NDSM has transformed into an 'Art City' consisting of a cultural and artistic breeding ground with around 80 workspaces covering around one third of the space.
This already makes NDSM the perfect location for us to host WasteBuild but add to that it is centrally located in the heart of Amsterdam's architectural and circular economy hotbed means WasteBuild 22 will be an event not to be missed.
